I grew up watching my mum work in the cosmetics industry - surrounded by lipsticks, testers, and the quiet of how a small product can change how a woman feels about herself. From a young age, beauty felt less like vanity and more like confidence, creativity, self-expression.
As I built my own career and eventually became a mum to two beautiful children, I found myself with very little time to be “put together.” What used to be a simple joy became a complicated routine I couldn’t maintain. But the need was still there - to feel polished, confident and like myself, even on the busiest days.
Shadey was born from that moment.
